Coaching Approach

The Foundation

Katie’s approach considers the whole person, including your training age and past experiences with movement. She listens to your story - who you’ve been, who you want to become, and the current reality of your health - before creating a path forward.

From there, Katie helps you meet yourself where your body and mind are today. She guides you in adjusting how you move, speak to yourself, and care for your body, with a focus on sustainable change.

Her coaching is rooted in a non-judgmental philosophy. She provides education and direction that empower you to live with greater balance, peace, and alignment with your personal goals and needs.

Start Your Journey

Mindset Comes First

The mind is the foundation of lasting health. Without a healthy and stable mindset, the risk of injury, inconsistency, or an unhealthy relationship with movement increases over time. True long-term fitness and well-being depend on establishing the right mental approach first.

If you struggle with your mindset, Katie will work with you to reshape how you view health and your body before diving into exercise plans or training sessions. She also offers educational classes designed to guide these conversations and help you build a sustainable, positive relationship with health.

Every Body Can Improve

Every body goes through different experiences and responds differently to environments and exercises. The philosophy is grounded in the fact that there is always something we can do with the body where it is at to make it improve in function.

Movement Can Meet You Where You Are At

Every movement you can possibly think of is modifiable. Meaning, if you hear jumping jack and haven’t jumped in 10 years due to bone on bone arthritis, have no fear. There are roughly 5 different ways to do a jumping jack with all different variations that address impact and intensity. If that’s an exercise that will help you, we will find a safe way for you to do it.

A Whole-Person Approach

We want to work and maintain your body the same way we may take care of a car. We do not just soley focus on the wheels of the car because if we do then another system is bound to fail. To ensure you obtain both quality and quantity we need to make sure all systems that help the body move are kept in stages of maintenance or improvement!
